  The cottage is beautifully furnished with everything you need and thoughtful extras. From the welcoming bottle of wine on arrival to the plentiful wood for the fireplace and fresh lettuce and herbs from the garden, every detail is considered. The birdseed for the feeders was a lovely touch

• Fabulous cottage - a home from home

  Bramber Cottage is well situated in the Main Street of Stanford. Very quiet surroundings and lovely walks on the doorstep. The attention to detail is exceptional. Comfortable, cosy, lovely garden - we couldn’t have wished for anything more. We will definitely be back for a longer stay soon.

• Lovely accommodation, cosy and well equipped. lovely garden and in walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops also craft shops. I would recommend this property, we would have loved to stay longer.

• Fantastic accommodation, easy walking distance to all bars and restaurants. We absolutely loved sitting on the veranda after a long day of sightseeing. There is everything you need to be self sufficient if you wanted. Everywhere was clean and tidy when we arrived and the bed was so comfortable.

• We were in town for a wedding and it was the perfect spot, wish we could have extended our stay. The house had absolutely everything that you could need, the garden was very peaceful and the interior clean and beautifully decorated. Everything in the town is walking distance as well which was lovely!

• Would definitely recommend. The Ark is absolutely lovely, with amazing personal touches like ample wood and the Nespresso machine with pods. The bedrooms are spacious and so comfy, and warm enough during a winter getaway. Beds and bedding are so warm and comfortable. The host was gracious enough to heat up the house before we arrived. • We loved the peace and quiet, the sound of running water, the view of the mountains, the many electric outlets, the clear labeling of light plugs, a very comfortable bed, on-site parking and lots more. Casper was really available if we needed and came over to open the shutters when we asked him to. He also answered questions and made recommendations. Thanks, Caspar! Stanford has wonderful restaurants all around.
