The organisers of the ever popular Stanford Country Market have secured a new venue in the wine cellar at Birkenhead Breweries. Get there between 6 and 8pm, on the last Friday of every month and sample the delicious produce from the area. The next market is on Friday 26th June. Until then, you can visit the Friday Morning Markets at Stanford Galleries between 10am and noon. Janet and her team are planning delicious winter meals to keep you warm, and as they have “The Beast”, they are NOT affected by Eskom’s erratic power supply! They bake fresh pastries every morning, and breakfast is available all day.
